Ethics Committee

CREI (Comité de Revisión Ética de Investigación Científica, Ethical Review Standards for Scientific Research) was created to respond to the need to ethically regulate research on individuals as conducted by our students.

The primary objective of CREI is the protection of individuals (their samples and data) who voluntarily participate in a research study, based on their ability to decide freely and informally about their participation in the study.

OBJECTIVES

  • Evaluate the risks and benefits of experimental research.
  • Protect the dignity, rights, safety, and well-being of persons participating in such research.
  • Protect the confidentiality of samples and personal data.
